I just realized that your 11th grader and 9th grader will be studying different historical time periods. I assume that is fairly self-directed for them. I've always thought that would make things too complicated for me. (Not them, just me! ;))
I love to do a literature-based group study but circumstances made it so we could no longer do that. So we had to switch to self-directed history programs.
